Ready For Deployment, Sir/Ma'am!

The Konsumer Kulture Kommando Korps, all present and accounted for. Waiting for orders.

(I'm in the East Bay, Northern California...also known as The Gulag Suburbia)

Any tips for deployment, strategy, action? The community college where I am employed is holding its graduation on Friday and I have unfettered access to the bleachers...should I?

Dude, it's not a question of "should," it's only a question of "where". And the answer is, everywhere. Everywhere that people will see them. Everywhere there's visibility. Everywhere there's a chance that someone will spot a plastic soldier, see the tag on it and think about the reality of Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan killing and dying for a Big Lie.

So yes, yes, you should. You must. Soldier, that's an order!

I'm thinking I will attach my men to balloons and release them into the sky so they may fall into the hands of those that otherwise might not find them. That would be just a portion of my men though. I think some would dangle nicely from plants found in certain nurseries...or placed in specific areas of some libraries...if you know what I mean. Grocery store shelves can serve our men nicely I think.

Generik raises and excellent point.

By the way do they still have the parachute type of army men?

I'm with generik! Do it!

I'm trying to figure out the best spot w/in my area of L.A. I mean, it's pretty liberal here but there are patches of shrub supporters. Hell, I ought to just amble on over the west side where the uber-rich are.

Yes, Crackpot - my nephew was playing with one just 2 years ago, so they must be somewhere!

Damn - now I want helium balloons! I think Sumo's idea is great. Would it work if we attach them to water balloons and hurl them at rightwing whackjobs? OK... I know... I know....

The coin return drops in vending machines! Just deployed two green guys in the cafeteria on campus...they fit perfectly. And it becomes a tactile experience.
