Read the Post Below This

I'll comment in what I was planning to say. The post below is much, much too important.

Little Toy Soldiers Represent Support for and Honor to our Troops

Standing up for these warriors and supporting them is not a circus, not a game, not make believe. We respect them, honor them and appreciate THEIR sacrifices. And we want them HOME.

Grief and loss in an illegal war.

Hardship and sacrifice.

Texas Road Runners

The first squad of Texas Road Runners was deployed with Sgt. Wolf to the north side of Houston in the heart of Bubba-country. Troops were inserted in local stores, gas stations, used car lots and junk yards ( being careful to avoid junk yard dogs which are notoriously aggressive). Veterans Days are prime barbecuing times for the Bubbas, but Saturdays are also prime junk yard days as the Bubbas seek out used parts for their '60s pick up trucks. Restoration of old trucks are a favored past time in Bubba- country.

Sgt. Wolf reported citizen reactions to the troops as varied, with comments usually prefaced with "wtf...". Positive remarks were, " (laugh) Right on, little dude", "hey, Billy Bob, look at this little M...F....! (laugh). Yeah, bring 'em home", "you ain't just a-sh....., buddy". and so forth. Overall, the Bubbas were positive, with just a few reacting negatively.

Second squad was deployed on the southeast side of Houston, to Krogers, Blockbuster, 2 Dollar stores, Nail Salon , 2 banks, a tire repair place, Do-nut shoppe, Radio Shack, and an imitation Stop-n-Go. Third squad will be deployed after 1300 hours when troop transport becomes available. Unfortunately, the military photographer is not available for photos , but the troops are conducting their missions admirably with bravery and fortitude.

KOMMANDOS RAID--VETERANS DAY 2006 (GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA)

Station Agent's debriefing...

After a long float from the Antarctic Unit beached in strange college town.

The local Walmart again?

I must admit I have no exit strategy from the WalMart.

Not without buying a sponge, some aspirin, a twelve dollar desk fan and a copy of the Enquirer. Oh and a Heath Bar and a bottle of Diet Pepsi.

This raid was a debacle.

Kommandos To Support The Troops on Veterans Day

TO: ALL KMDRS
FROM: KVATCH, SUPREME KMDR

KOMMANDER AMERICAN REPORTS TROOPS READY FOR VETERANS DAY DEPLOYMENT STOP
KOMMANDER KVATCH ALSO SENDING TROOPS INTO THE FIELD STOP
ALL KOMMANDERS ENCOURAGED TO PREPARE REINFORCEMENTS STOP

GODSPEED

K.K.

What's the Kommandos Project all about?

Once upon a time there was a Chicago peace activist named Sallie Gratch who had an idea for a novel sort of protest involving the little army men that you played with as a kid. A blogger named Jay Lassiter picked up the idea and began deploying these little guys whenever and wherever he had the chance.

The Kommandos Project started when Kvatch decided to go national with the idea in order celebrate his own blog's one year anniversary. That was in May. Since then, dozens of bloggers all over the nation have deployed thousands of these little guys, with major protests being held on Memorial Day and Independence Day.

And now we're going to show our support for the troops and for an end to the Iraq War with a Veteran's Day Protest.

Please join us.

Big Push for November 11th ?

Supreme Commander Kvatch, Sir! Commander American's Texas RoadRunners
are trained and ready for deployment, eager to perform their duty on the day of special honoring of our Veterans.

Bring our men and women HOME!!

Commander American reports that one of my own has returned to the States, unfortunately suffering from severe PTSD, and in lieu of treatment has been given further special training and received a promise of possible re-deployment to Iraq for the third time.

Therefore, some of the Texas RoadRunners will bear messages protesting the lack of treatment for PTSD and also protesting multiple deployments to Iraq.

Damn the warmongers to the deepest pits of Hell!
