BACK TO THE HINTERLANDS

Supreme Kommander Kvatch, Sir! Kommander American here to report deployment and missions of the Texas Roadrunners. Several squads were deployed to local businesses and locations in Houston, Texas. Our photographer was unavailable to film these missions but all troops acquitted themselves bravely and with honor.

Other squads were transported to repeat the missions of the Roadrunners of May 27-28, to infiltrate the hinterlands outside of Houston. These were all volunteer units as the rural and small town areas are strongly conservative, pro-Bush, Bible Belt citizenry. Considerable caution and tact had to be exercized to avoid offending the citizens and to enlist their cooperation and support. Our troops succeeded admirably; although strongly in favor of Bush, the locals also are strong supporters of the troops.

Kommander Kvatch, Sir. I would like to mention my grandson, Country Boy, and Kommander Marty's son, both of whom are on a second tour of duty to Iraq. I reccommend them for Honorable Mention, Sir.
Texas Roadrunners, named for Country Boy's unit.

Several troops were deployed to a rural church, where the congregation offered fervent prayers for our men and women serving in the military and for their safe and speedy return home.

WHILE KOMMANDOS TAKE UP POSITIONS WITHIN SMALL TOWNS, OTHERS INFILTRATE RURAL AREAS, POSTING TO MAILBOXES AND STREETSIGNS.
ALL MISSIONS WERE COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY, SIR. THE TEXAS ROADRUNNERS DID THEIR DUTY AND ACTED WITH BRAVERY AND FORTITUDE.

Bravery and fortitude indeed--these guys were really behind enemy lines. ;-)

Thanks to all our comrades in arms. This Kommander is preparing more kommandoes with signs, ready for their next missions. This time the kommando's url was printed on the back of their signs, as will the new ones.

The kommandos report that they were well received by most of the citizens who interacted with them. A number of them went MIA and are assumed to be POWs. Only one civilian was heard to take exception to the "no blood for oil" message. The kommando was captured and thrown in a refuse can. His comrades embarked on a rescue mission, which was successful and the trooper took up his post again. His valor will be remembered.
